# Manage billing

> Use the trial, manage the subscription, and understand Workspace and X limits.

OpenPMM charges for each Workspace. Account members do not add a charge.

The beta monthly price is USD 1.99 or EUR 1.99 for the first paid month.

The standard monthly price is USD 9.95 or EUR 9.95 for each Workspace.

The beta annual price is USD 91.54 or EUR 91.54 for the first year.

The standard annual price is USD 99.50 or EUR 99.50 for each Workspace.

The annual price includes the beta reduction and two months at no charge. OpenPMM applies the beta offer automatically.

Stripe shows the currency, discount, and tax before you confirm payment.

## Start the trial

The free trial lasts 14 days. You do not add payment details to start it.

OpenPMM starts the trial when you complete signup. OpenPMM also creates your first Workspace.

The trial includes all product features except X. Drafts and other destinations remain available.

## Unlock X during the trial

Open **Account**, then click **Subscribe monthly** or **Subscribe annually**.

Stripe hosts the checkout page. Paid service starts immediately after Stripe confirms payment.

OpenPMM unlocks X after Stripe confirms payment.

## Use the X allowance

Each paid Workspace includes 50 X post items in each UTC calendar month. Each item in an X thread counts once.

OpenPMM rejects new X publishing when the Workspace reaches 50 items. Drafts remain available.

An uncertain provider result keeps its allowance reservation. This rule prevents an accidental extra provider charge.

## Add or remove a Workspace

OpenPMM shows the exact prorated charge before it adds a paid Workspace. It also shows the new monthly or annual total.

An active monthly beta discount applies to the prorated charge. An annual Workspace added after checkout uses the standard prorated price.

Review these amounts, then confirm the change. OpenPMM updates the subscription and creates the Workspace only after successful payment.

You cannot add a Workspace after you schedule subscription cancellation. Open **Account**, then resume the subscription in the Stripe portal.

Workspace removal takes effect at the end of the current paid term. You receive no mid-term credit.

You can delete a trial Workspace immediately because it has no paid term.

You can use the Workspace until its access end date. The last Workspace removal also schedules subscription cancellation.

Cancel an active Workspace with `POST /v1/workspaces/{workspace_id}/cancellation` and a confirmation value of `CANCEL` followed by its exact name. OpenPMM archives the Workspace when the paid term ends. Permanent deletion is a separate `DELETE /v1/workspaces/{workspace_id}` action for an archived Workspace and requires `DELETE` followed by its exact name.

## Handle a failed payment

OpenPMM keeps publishing available for seven days after a failed renewal payment. Use the Stripe portal to correct payment details.

The Account becomes read-only when the grace period ends. You can still view the Account and edit existing drafts.

You cannot schedule or publish new Posts in read-only mode.

## Manage the subscription

After payment, open **Account**. Then click **Manage Subscription**.

Stripe hosts payment methods, invoices, cancellation, and plan changes. A cancellation takes effect at the paid term end.

The Account page shows `CANCELED` and the subscription end date after you schedule cancellation.

Plan changes are unavailable while a beta discount is active. This rule prevents an incorrect discount on an annual invoice.

A change from monthly to annual billing takes effect immediately. Stripe applies the unused monthly amount as a credit on the annual invoice. A change from annual to monthly billing takes effect when the annual term ends.
